Die Galerie „Under the Mango Tree“ an der Merseburger Straße in Schöneberg, parallel zur Akazienstraße, zeigt derzeit Werke des bulgarischen Künstlers Stefan Todorov. Es ist seine erste Solo-Ausstellung in Berlin. Sie trägt den Namen „Sonic Structures“. Seine ausdrucksstarken abstrakten Bilder malt er auf Seide. Todorov lässt sich dabei durch Musik inspirieren. Seine Werke haben keinen Titel. In wechselnden Ausstellungen präsentiert die Galerie zeitgenössische internationale Kunst, von der Fotografie, Malerei bis hin zu Medien Film/Video und konzeptueller Kunst.

“Please define dark, a dark colour, a dark shape? There is no link between these and dark feelings. Black is as spacious as white but in a different direction. The communication between objects placed on white is different from the communication of objects placed on black, but black does not mean dark. There is absolutely no bad combination of colours.
